It is predicted that scab will be prevalent in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, in the Jianghuai River and in the southern part of the Huanghuai River, and in the northern part of the Huanghuai River and in the northern part of North China, which will pose a threat to the safety of wheat production. In this regard, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Areas attaches great importance to the urgent deployment of wheat scab prevention and control work, requiring all localities to implement prevention and control measures as soon as possible, to curb the widespread spread epidemic of diseases and disasters, to prevent and control pests and harvest, and to ensure scientific drug use and safety.

 

One is to strengthen the implementation of responsibilities. All localities should resolutely implement the central deployment, shoulder the important task of food security, firmly stabilize the goal of grain production, take strengthening the prevention and control of wheat scab as an important task of current agricultural production, strengthen organizational leadership, mobilize and deploy extensively, implement responsibilities at all levels, and earnestly grasp the implementation of prevention and control measures. Major leaders should ask questions personally. Leaders in charge should direct ahead, strengthen supervision and inspection, coordinate measures to implement, strictly prevent the widespread spread spread spread of scab, and win the initiative of harvest of summer grain.

 

Second, strengthen monitoring and early warning. We should give full play to the role of crop pest forecasting network, intensify monitoring, comprehensively grasp the trend of seedling, disease and soil moisture, pay close attention to weather changes, scientifically determine the epidemic situation of diseases, timely release disease warning information, and guide local governments to carry out timely scientific prevention and control. In the incidental areas of scab such as the northern part of the Huanghuai River and the northern part of China, we should focus on monitoring to ensure that the best time for prevention and control is not missed due to inadequate monitoring and untimely prediction. At the same time, the information reporting system and the real-time disaster reporting system should be strictly implemented to ensure the smooth flow of information channels.

 

Third, we should do a good job in classified prevention and control. In the areas with frequent occurrence of scab such as the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, the Yangtze River and the Huaihe River, and the southern part of the Huanghuai River, we should adhere to the principle of "initiative to attack, see flowers and apply medicines", seize the critical period of wheat heading and flowering, spray high-efficiency road medicines in an all-round way, increase the frequency of application of medicines appropriately in key areas, control the occurrence of diseases and reduce the degree of harm In the incidental areas of scab such as northern Huanghuai and Northern China, we should adhere to the principle of "prevention and timely use of medicines" and not relax. In case of continuous rain or open air for a long time during the heading and flowering period of wheat, we should organize medicament control immediately to reduce the risk of disease epidemic. According to the monitoring results of drug resistance of pathogens in different areas, rational selection of high-efficiency agents can improve the control effect.

 

Fourth, promote the rule of unified defense. We will support the development of specialized prevention and control service organizations with sophisticated equipment, advanced technology, standardized management and good reputation, vigorously carry out unified prevention and control, implement "one spray and three defenses" on a large scale, and promote the "five unified" services of organizing, launching, technical programs, drug supply, time for prevention and control, and pesticide application operations, so as to improve the effect of disease prevention and control. Fifth, precise guidance services. To organize experts to formulate technical plans for the prevention and control of wheat scab, to carry out technical guidance on tour, to highlight scientific drug selection and rational drug use, and to implement preventive and control measures in accordance with local conditions and time. To organize cadres and agricultural technicians to go deep into areas where wheat scab occurs again, and to help farmers solve practical difficulties by means of squatting, wrapping and entering villages and households. In the critical period of prevention and control, we should supervise the work in key areas to ensure that prevention and control measures are in place and technical measures are put into field.

 

It is reported that the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Areas has dispatched five working groups to carry out supervision and technical guidance on the prevention and control of wheat scab in Henan, Jiangsu, Hubei, Anhui, Shandong and other major wheat-producing provinces.
